This is the chronicle of a family –

Mommia / R:  who, despite a wanderlust most grand, is too often thwarted by the creature comforts of the family room sofa;
Dadda / B:  who loves, in alphabetical order, chicken, Cleveland, family, and golf;
Peeg:  dancer of ballet and bollywood | huntress of earthworms, fireflies, and tadpoles | household sous-chef | big sister extraordinaire;
Looga:  a transportation vehicle aficionado who melts hearts with his toothy grin, droopy diaper, and mile-long lashes;
Coorgi:  a fat-cheeked, crooked-grinned, snuggle-bug of a baby sister.
Yaak:  a lilliputian Mini Aussie with a determination so dogged it would give Forrest Gump a run for his box of chocolates;

– and its members’ attempts to retain a sense of adventure in their otherwise pedestrian, Midwestern lives.  We share our stories with the hope that they might inspire you to explore the world too.
